Dr. Saraswathi Ramanathan, now 85 years old, born and brought up in Pallathur, a village near Karaikudi in Sivaganga District,  is a great orator, a multi-faceted writer and nurtured Mother Tamil. Whenever one hears the name Sarasuvathi Ramanathan, one will think of her Innisai discourses and Kumbabhishek live commentaries. She has served more than ….  years as Tamil professor in Seetha Lakhmi Achi College for Women in Pallathur. She has lectured in many foreign countries and also talked about Bainthamil norms with cultural pride, making everyone a relative with love and embracing the world. Dr.Saraswati Ramanathan is the ambassador of Muthamizh  not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in India and in many countries around the world.

Dr.Sarasuvathi Ramanathan has received various awards. Some noteworthy  awards are:  ‘Kavya Kalaimamani’  given by Kanchi Mamunivar, ‘Sentamizh Thilak’ by Kunrakkudi Adikalar , ‘Chettinadu Senpakapoo’ by Kaviyarasu Kannadasan , ‘Kampan Adippodi’  Award ,‘Shekizhar’  Award and Best Professor award by the Tamilvel PT Rajan Memorial Trust etc.,

Dr.Sarasuvathi Ramanathan, has been doing education charity and community charity for several decades. Continuously giving donation to Governor of Tamil Nadu on every Flag day and also giving donation on every Navy day. Photos of Donation given  to Governor and Admiral during January 2025.
