Managing Trustee Sri P. Paramasivam, born as the tenth child to his illiterate parents, is the first in his family to have studied beyond the eighth standard. Through perseverance and dedication, he rose through the ranks and retired as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax.
Before his retirement, on July 24, 2024, marking the 165th Income Tax Day, he was honored with a Meritorious Certificate by the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Sri R. N. Ravi, in the esteemed presence of Sri Sunil Mathur, the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCA), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
Pallathur Nanbarhal Arakkattalai is his dream project—a heartfelt initiative born from his desire to give back to society. Committed to uplifting rural students through education, he dedicated a significant portion of his retirement benefits to this noble cause.
He donated ₹5 lakh to the trust and further contributed ₹1.08 lakh for a Smart Board and ₹1.25 lakh for five computers to enhance student learning.
Additionally, he has constructed a 1,200 sq. ft. first-floor extension above his residence in Kodianthoppu Agraharam, located near the Trust’s Free Computer and Typewriting Institute. This space will serve as a free coaching center for students preparing for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) , UPSC exam, SSC and other competitive exams, with a total building cost of ₹20 lakh.( First Floor)
Sri P. Paramasivam has dedicated nearly 50% of his retirement benefits to empowering students, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to education and community development.
